We have developed a system of TOTEMS/BADGES/PASSPORTS that we use to gamify skill development and introduce athletes to important principles of play and ways to manage their competitive drive.  These badges offer us a chance to make development fun, while also giving us a chance to reward and discuss key attributes of social and emotional intelligence that enable kids to thrive in sports.
